With a wealth of combined experience spanning five decades, Mandy Saligari and Anthony McLellan set up Charter Day Care in Harley Street, London to offer private clients comprehensive and appropriate treatment for a range of important, challenging and sensitive issues such as alcohol and drug dependency and abuse, bulimia, anorexia, gambling and depression.
Mandy heads up the discreet and focussed treatment team dedicated to recovery from all forms of addiction, applying an integrated counselling approach both in one to one and group therapy working to establish and maintain a healthier way of life in a confidential and supportive environment. Although no longer a partner, Anthony continues to provide interventions and referrals into Charter.
What makes Charter special:
Flexibility: Charter's treatment programme is individually tailored to the needs of each client. We are proud of the levels of personal support we are able to provide.
Integrity: Charter's treatment programmes are intensive and sometimes challenging, and you will receive our complete commitment. If you are serious about wanting to recover, Charter is the place for you.
Day care and supported accommodation: Charter's Harley Street treatment is a day-only programme, which we believe is an effective way of helping clients to get well in the context of their broader lives and an alternative to full residential treatment. In addition, the support available at Charter Primrose Hill means we are able to offer round-the-clock support where this is appropriate.
Integrative approach: Using a 12 step based model and incorporating many treatment methods in a group and one to one setting, Charter also offers nutritional support, writing and art therapy, movement therapy and meditation.
Working with the Anonymous fellowships: Charter encourages its clients to attend meetings of fellowships such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, and provides support around this important aspect of recovery.
