Paul Harris

Paul Harris (MA distinction) is a registered Integrative Child & Adult Psychotherapist (UKCP), trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education where he also works as core faculty. In addition, Paul works as Visiting Lecturer at City University where he delivers training to health care professionals in the Department for Community and Health Sciences.

He maintains a busy private practice with adults specializing in sexuality, trauma and addiction. In his work with children and young people, he has worked for many years in the context of Education, Social Services, Health and the Community Arts focusing on learning differences, alternate and non-standard forms of communication. Currently, Paul is supervising the first psychodynamic training for Deaf adults in the medium of BSL and works voluntarily for London Friend.

Along side his psychotherapeutic practice, Paul teaches a regular yoga class and is particularly interested in cross-cultural practices of mindfulness and embodiment as well as the transformational and healing potential of the arts.
