Movement therapy
Emma Leech works with Charter clients in movement therapy workshops, and is a heartbeat level teacher of 5 Rhythms®, a dance meditation based on the body's natural rhythms. The 5- Rhythms expressive movement is a tool that offers a therapeutic release to those engaged in the creative process, transforming emotional wounds into moving Art.
Emma has been an apprentice to Gabrielle Roth for 20 years and trained with her to teach the 5 rhythms in 2001. In 2007 she undertook further advanced study and training to teach the 'heartbeat' map of the 5 Rhythms. Since then she has travelled to different parts of the Globe and the UK taking the practice to a wide audience.
As well as working in the addiction recovery programme in Charter's Harley Street premises, Emma also works in prisons, with at-risk young people and children in deprived neighbourhoods.
