About You

In this section you will find some more information about addiction and treatment as it relates to you personally, or to find out more information if you are worried about a person close to you who you think might be suffering from an addictive disorder.

If you are unsure whether or not you yourself have a problem with addiction, our self-assessment questions may give you some guidance.

In our FAQ section you will find information which addresses common concerns and areas of uncertainty for those new to the notion of addiction and its treatment.

This section of the website also includes further information for family members of those in active addiction or in recovery (make sure to have a look at our Family Groups page under 'Other Services' as well – you may also find the sections on Relationships and Co-dependency are of interest).

You will also find a short introduction to our counselling services (as opposed to the various treatment programmes for addictions), more information is contained under the individual pages relating to One-to-one Counselling and Relationship Counselling.
